The AZ Democratic Law Professions Association invites you to a complimentary hour of CLE and social hour:

Speaker: Mr Robert McWhiter, Esq., Certified Criminal Law Specialist, author of Fixing the Framers’ Failure: the 13th, 14th and 15th Amendments and America’s New Birth of Freedom (2022) and Bills Quills and Stills: The History of the Bill of Rights (2015), and constitutional law expert will provide a free hour of CLE on the 15th Amendment. The first hour is a social mixer with complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, the second hour is the CLE presentation.

Attendees will understand what “political activity” means and how the Federal Election Committee, the Arizona Secretary of State and the Internal Revenue Service interpret it.
Attendees will understand what being primarily engaged in promoting social welfare means.
Attendees will know what non-exempt expenditures are and why the matter.
Attendees will understand the difference between a 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4) and a 527.
Attendees will know the basic components of how to form a 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4) and a 527.
Attendees will understand what activities can lead to a loss of status for a 501(c)(3) or a 501(c)(4)
